My first cold.

Carla is such a delight. She truly is an incredibly content little girl. This past week she got her first cold. On Monday morning she woke up with, as John says "half her brain hanging out of her head." Of course not literally, but she did have a lot of snot everywhere. But even as she hacked up a lung, she would look over at me and smile from ear to ear. It has prompted me to purpose to have a better attitude when I am not feeling well. We know that as parents our job is to teach her to know the Lord and walk in His ways, and we are excited about that. But, it is precious to experience our heavenly Father using Carla to teach us how to live in a manner that pleases Him. We hope you enjoy these latest shots.

Extreme close up!

Carla's foot. You saw it in black and white already but I like it so much I had to put it here again. She has such cute feet!

Did I miss the Kstate Spring Game?

Almost crawling...

Pensive.

No Carla, you didn't miss the Spring Game. We're going this weekend.

Happy Baby!

Black and White

Photoshop is an amazing thing. I have seen skilled artists use it to create amazing places, put a person's head on backwards and more. I am not so skilled. However, I do enjoy tinkering with it and used it today to turn some of my favorite recent shots of Carla into black and white images. From her hands and feet to her swirly Q hair to looking like a Jedi princess after her bath and getting all dressed up for Easter, I think you'll agree that every part of her is absolutely gorgeous - even in black and white.

A Visit from my Uncles

My uncles, Joseph and Timothy came to see me last weekend. I had a lot of fun putting my feet on Joseph, getting bottles from Timothy and trying to figure out which one was my Daddy. Enjoy the pictures!
